System requirements

Sonto 2.0 needs a recent operating system:

Sonto is a native app on both platforms, downloaded from the App Store. There’s no web version, and no account to create — see Account & Pricing.

If you’re on an older system

Sonto 2.0 won’t install below these versions, and the App Store won’t offer you the update. Nothing is lost by waiting:

Sonto 1.7.x keeps working. Your existing install carries on as before.
Your data is untouched. It stays on your device and in your iCloud account, in the same shape.

When you update your operating system, the App Store will offer Sonto 2.0 and your data comes across as it is.

To check what you’re running: on Mac, open the Sonto menu and choose About Sonto. On iPhone, open Settings → Help.

The requirement is the same on Mac and iPhone & iPad: version 26 or later.
